With over 20 years of community service in Rochester, NY, Rosa has made a significant impact in the fields of addictions, education, developmental disabilities, and law. Her leadership in program operations, finance, organizational development, compliance, Human Resources, coaching, and staff development has built highly effective teams within various non-profits. She also holds her SHRM-CP certification in Human Resources.

Rosa has a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Women and Gender Studies from SUNY Brockport. Her deep commitment to DEI advocacy is reflected in her role as an adjunct professor at SUNY Brockport and St. John Fisher University, where she teaches in Women & Gender Studies. 

She is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through both her professional and academic work.

Learning objectives she'll cover:

  • Understand the core principles of DEI and why they matter in a professional setting.
  • Identify unconscious biases and their impacts on decision-making and workplace dynamics.
  • Learn strategies for fostering inclusion and equitable opportunities for all employees.
  • Develop skills for self-accountability and holding others accountable for upholding DEI values.
  • Create actionable DEI goals and track progress through accountability frameworks.
